The Saryu-class are Naval Offshore Patrol Vessels (NOPVs) operated by the Indian Navy, providing extended-range coastal and exclusive-economic-zone patrol, surveillance and limited combat capability.[1]

Design

Saryu-class vessels displace 2,230 tons, measuring 105 m in length with a 12.9 m beam and 4.9 m draught. They achieve a top speed of 25 knots with a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 16 knots, carrying a complement of 118 personnel (16 officers and 102 sailors). Armament includes a 76 mm/62 Oto Melara main gun and two 30 mm/65 AK-630 close-in weapon systems.[1]
