The Kora-class (Project 25A) are guided-missile corvettes built for the Indian Navy by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), an improved and enlarged follow-on to the earlier Khukri-class, providing coastal and near-sea anti-surface and air-defence capability.[1]
Kora-class corvettes displace 1,460 tons (long tons) full load, measuring 91.1 m in length with a 10.5 m beam and 4.5 m draught. Powered by two SEMT Pielstick/Kirloskar 18 PA6V 280 diesel engines producing 14,400 PS, the class reaches speeds of 25 knots, with a complement of 134 personnel including 14 officers.[1]
