India set to carry out trials for US-made Stryker combat vehicles in Ladakh & deserts

Army is looking to procure about 530 infantry combat vehicles to re-equip several mechanised infantry battalions. Talks between India & US are at an advanced stage

this will bring huge harm to AB plus Stryker is an inferior vehicle to tata kestralit makes no sense why would armed forces go for strkyer

Engine of stryker has almost half the power as WHAP

plus it’s not even amphibious 

 

how will it cross streams in ladakh

or vast network of canals that pakis have built parallel to indo pak border?

i can’t understand Indian army IFV should be amphibious
